How do you know where I rank?
We use a commercial Google Maps results feed (DataForSEO). For every dot on your map we run your search as a phone at that exact spot and record your position in the first 20 places. We never ask for your Google password.
Why is my rank different on my own phone?
Google personalizes results by where you stand, what you searched before and the time of day. Our checks come from a clean phone at fixed points, so week-to-week changes are real changes, not noise from your own history.
How often are maps updated?
Every week by default; your report email arrives once all your searches are re-checked, usually on the same weekday you signed up. You can also set a search to every day, every 3 days, every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks. Daily searches per plan: Local 2, Growth 5, Agency 15, Scale 5.
What do the colors mean?
Dark green: top 3 (where most calls come from). Light green: 4 to 7. Yellow: 8 to 12. Orange: 13 to 20. Red: not in the first 20 places.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Cancel within 7 days of your first payment from Billing and the full amount is refunded automatically. After that you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the month or year you paid for.
Can I put my agency logo on reports?
Yes, on Growth ($79), Agency ($199) and Scale ($497). Add your logo, color, sender name and reply-to address in Brand settings. Reports and share links then show your brand only.
How big should my grid be?
Grids run from 3×3 to 21×21, square or circle, with any spacing from 0.1 to 25 miles between points (at most 100 miles across), and you can turn single points off. For a city business, a 7×7 grid with 1 mile between points covers about 6 by 6 miles. Use 0.5 miles for dense downtowns and 2 miles for suburbs or rural service areas. Bigger grids and more frequent scans use your plan's monthly scan points faster; the dashboard shows what is left.
Do you work for service-area businesses with no address?
Yes. Google still places your profile at a point; we centre the grid there. You can track any area you serve.
Is this affiliated with Google?
No. We are an independent tool. Google and Google Maps are trademarks of Google LLC.
How do I cancel?
Open Billing in your dashboard and press Cancel. No calls, no emails.
Do I need a call or an onboarding session?
No. Sign up, type your business name and the searches you care about, and the first map runs right away. Everything after that is automatic: a new map every week, an email report, and the dashboard.
What should I do with my weekly report?
Work down the fix list from the top. Each fix says why it matters for your map and the exact steps. The next report shows whether your top-3 spots went up, and the dashboard keeps the week-by-week history.
Can I change my searches or grid later?
Yes, any time from the location page in your dashboard. The next weekly scan uses the new settings.
Do you track AI search?
AI grid tracking is switched on. Chatbot checks are switched on. When enabled, on a 5×5 grid we check whether Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews name your business or cite your website. We can also ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude a question such as "best plumber in Austin" and show whether each one recommends you. ChatGPT and Perplexity are asked at country level; Gemini and Claude at city level. Allowances per 30 days: Local 2 AI grid scans and 5 chatbot checks, Growth 5 and 25, Agency 15 and 75, Scale 5 and 20.
Which countries and languages can I track?
Google Maps rankings for businesses in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, with search language English or Spanish. Prices are the same.
Can it send alerts or connect to other tools?
Yes. Every paid plan can send Slack and webhook alerts (map finished, top-3 coverage dropped, Google profile changed, AI check finished) and has a private Google Sheets / Looker Studio feed. Growth, Agency and Scale also get the API, including calls to add a location, add searches and run a scan, and an MCP connector for Claude. Agency and Scale can give clients read-only logins (5 on Agency, 25 on Scale).
What other reports are there?
A head-to-head report against up to 4 rivals per location, a roll-up report for a group of locations (it can be emailed weekly or monthly), and an AI review analysis of the reviews you import into the review inbox.
